To hire a business coach for your law practice.
And three reasons why there's no time like the present.
So listen up because if you fall into the first three categories now may not be the time for you to hire.
A coach for your law firm. And I'm going to share three reasons Why if, if.
You fall in line with these three reasons that you want to go
ahead and take action on hiring a business coach for your law firm.
Okay so let's kick it off with the three ways. The three reasons why now may not be a time.
Alright number one. If you are expecting your coach.
I coach you hire to be a fairy godmother and wave a
magic wand to fix everything in your business overnight.
Then now may not be the time for you to hire a coach.
Coaches are more like Sherpas than fairy godmothers And it's important that you understand this.
Our job is to guide you over and around
and through obstacles Sometimes they're external obstacles.
Like I don't know how what case management software to use.
And sometimes there are internal obstacles like limiting beliefs that we have that are keeping
us from doing what is necessary to have a successful business.
These are obstacles that we know as coaches who have helped many other law firm owners that
you've done this ourselves that you're going to encounter.
Because we've been there and we've overcome them. And they're
obstacles that you may not even realize you're going to encounter.
So. Think of it as a Sherpa.
Guiding experienced climbers up Mount Everest right?
You have to have guides to help you.
You don't have to you can do it yourself and not have guides to help you Let me be clear on that.
You can work in your law firm business Can. to grow it and do what you
need to do and never hire a coach There are certainly people out there who do that.
The advantage of having a coach. Is that we.
Have already made a lot of the mistakes that you can avoid making if you hire us So we really
are here to help you take the shortcuts so that you can get to where you want to go faster.
But we are not fairy godmothers I wish that we were all right
Number two if you have not thought about how you will pay.
For a coach's services and prepared accordingly.
Then now is not the time. Some people want to know all the shortcuts.
To get to a million dollars quickly, but they are unwilling to put skin in the game themselves.
They want to DIY everything. They don't want to pay for expert help.
You know who these people are as an attorney you've had clients like this you had clients who've
called you and said Hey, can you just tell me what do and I'll go do it I don't want to pay you to do it right.
If you are in that mindset and you haven't thought about, I
need to, I'm going to have to pay for this coach's services I better go figure out.
Kind of get a good idea of how much coaching services cost.
And be prepared so that when I meet the coach, And I'm
ready that I have a game plan for paying them.
All right So these kinds of people who aren't prepared, they
want the coach to take all the risks on their business.
But they are not willing to take the risk themselves. They don't
research the cost of coaching They don't set up business credit to cover it.
They don't allocate other resources from their business to cover it.
There are many group coaching services for attorneys where the investment
ranges from a few hundred dollars or a few hundred dollars a month.
To a few thousand dollars. Private coaching.
Where you have more one-on-one access to the coach can range from five figure Invest.
to multiple six figures. I know one coach who
charges $150,000 a year to work with him.
So. Uh, most coaches are more in the sort of low to mid six figure range I mean
five figure range, but it depends on the coach.
And the level of access you have to that code. So go and do your research So you are prepared
and you understand what type of coaching you need.
And you're prepared financially when it's time to make the investment.
If you have not done those things you have not thought that through You're not willing to put it
on a credit card when you're willing to put a lot of other things on credit cards but you're not
willing to put an investment in your business on a credit card Then you really
need to sit and think about whether or not this is right for you.
Number three if you are only mildly interested in coaching.
So your curate your coat What I call a coaching Curious.
But you're not willing to invest your time to follow the coaches recommendations.
So all the invite. in the world will not help you if you think you're smarter than the average bear.
And you're not going to follow a coach's recommendations because you know you rebel against anybody telling you what to do.
Which a good coach will never tell you what to do They're going to make recommendations as
gestures and they expect you to be an adult and make decisions for yourself Right.
All the advice in the world will not help you unless you're willing to take action on the coaches recommendations.
You may. You must be open-minded about how to find the time for coaching.
And trust that if other people have done it successfully you can too.
If you feel you're too busy for coaching.
It's likely because you need help with prioritizing your time in a more effective manner.
And a good coach That's one of the first things that a good coach is going to help you do is reprioritize your time.
So you can make time in your schedule every week to work on your business, not just in your
business head down all the time, not ever making anything better about your.
Okay So those are three reasons why.
Now will not be a good time for you If you haven't considered these three reasons and thought
that through now I'm going to give you three reasons why there's no time like the present to
hire a coach…Number one, if you're working your butt off.
But you still don't seem to be able to make the kind of money you believe
you should be making and truly deserve to be making.
So if you're tired of under earning when you're working your butt off, it's past time for you
to hire a coach so we can help you break out of that hamster wheel cycle.
For a small investment you can enjoy significant financial returns for years to come.
That's what a lot of people don't realize is when you invest in a year of coaching
or six months of coaching, What you get out of that?
Pays dividends over and over and over again because you're going to fill a knowledge gap.
That you currently have There's something that you currently don't know, cannot know do not understand.
About running a business that is keeping you stuck in this cycle.
And if you make a small investment to get a coach to be help you work on that, sometimes it's
mindset Sometimes it's systems Sometimes it's other things.
But you will that will pay dividends for years to come in your
business It's not just going to be the return you get this year on that investment.
It's going to be the return you get year after year after year on your, on your investment.
Number two. Now is the perfect time for you to hire a coach.
If you feel like you're working all the time and you feel exhausted.
Overwhelmed and frustrated because your business doesn't seem to be working for you.
You're making good money, but at the cost of your mental emotional or
physical health, Uh coach who has been there done that.
Can help you. Okay. And here's a warning.
If your health is suffering because of your business. You are working on borrowed time My friend.
You are going to burn out if you have already burned out you are headed there.
You must take action ASAP to change this situation.
A coach who understands that can help you Uh
, stop this before it is too late and you have burned yourself out.
And caused a real problem. Number three, if you know there must be a better way.
You've tried to cobble together solutions from posts from your favorite attorney social media group.
But it's still not working the way that you envisioned.
So your, your law firm still isn't working the way you envision where you're making plenty of
money and you have plenty of time to enjoy the money you're making.
Now as the time to stop expecting custom results
from generic comments made in on social media.
Or the recommendations of colleagues or friends or just Facebook friends that you've never met.
And you don't know anything about their life or their circumstances.
They're recommending something that's worked for them but you don't know if it's gonna work for you.
That's where it's time. start stepping into coaching and investing in your business and stop
trying to get all the answers from free.
